Who is Bob Patterson?
Bob is quite a man: He's a loving husband and a devoted father of three (3) children, including a recently adopted
10-year-old son. He's lived and worked in the Tucson/Vail area for over 25 years, selflessly devoting his life to teaching,
volunteering for charitable organizations, working with the Foster Care Review Board, Juvenile Court and Mediation Board,
counseling youth and families, and so much more...until tradegy struck on December 3, 2003. Bob had cardiac arrest while
excercising and suffered a brain injury. Now, this desperately needed father to a yourg boy, family man, and community
leader, who has given so generously, needs you. His family and friends are asking for your much needed prayers for his
speedy and complete recovery, and for your generous donations.
Financial support is urgently needed to admit Bob to the Texas NueroRehab Center in Austin, Texas. This facility
specializes in the type of treatment needed for the injury Bob has suffered. He would receive the necessary physical,
speech, and occupational therapy, as well as cognitive rehabilitiation to help him come back to his family, friends and community.
Bob has been accepted by the center but his insurance has been exhausted during his care in local facilities.
Bob can be productive again with your contributions. He has given so much to our community, and with necessary
and appropriate treatment, he can continue to do that which was so important to him and to which he has dedicated his life.
For now he needs treatment, rehabilitation, and a specially equipped van.
The first year is most crucial in getting the type of care that Bob needs, so contributions are needed immediately!!
